Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway have announced a new fund that supports regional cross-border and transnational projects proposing shared solutions to Europe’s common challenges. Funding is available within all priority sectors of the EEA and Norway Grants.
On December 13, 2017, negotiations within Norway / EEA financial mechanism for the new financial period 2014-2021 continued in Brussels. In the new funding period Republic of Croatia will receive a total of 103.4 million EUR for implementation of several projects.
Based on more than 300 project ideas submitted to public call financed by the new EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment., that was launched in April 2017,49 projects were selected in the shortlist.
On October 20th 2017, the third round of negotiations concerning the definition of the Program that will be included in the Memorandums of Understanding on the Cooperation of the Financial Mechanisms of Norway and the European Economic Area for the new financial period 2014- 2021 was held in Zagreb.
An informative – education conference “Days of the regional development and EU funds“ were organized in Šibenik by Mistry of the Regional Development and EU funds of the Republic of Croatia in cooperation with partner institutions, between 5th and 7th October 2017.
